Lip fillers are made up of Hyaluronic acid which is a substance that occurs naturally in the skin, which also means that they are reversible and if left, will break down naturally over time. The procedure involves a series of injections into the lip area with an ultra-fine needle for minimal discomfort. The Medical Practitioner will apply a local anaesthetic cream to reduce discomfort. The procedure time is approximately 30 minutes. We ask you to arrive at the clinic 30 minutes prior to appointment to allow the topical anaesthetic to take effect.

A full medical consultation with a register nurse in clinic will determine if suitable for treatment. Following a filler injection, you may experience slight redness, swelling, or bruising of the injected area. These effects should not last for more than a week. A full explanation of possible side effects/risks will be discussed at consultation. Patients are provided with aftercare leaflet post treatment.
